about

'Saraswāti: The Goddess of Music' is an 18th Century South Indian composition in Raag Saraswāti. This is a rare occasion when a Southern Indian melody is led by a North Indian instrument – the sarangi. Suhail Yusuf Khan bought this composition to the band and directed the performance which is a deep dive into the Southern Indian Carnatic tradition in Khamira's unique way.
